Rating: 9/10Short Review: Good food, decent price, good atmosphere.Long Review: Me and my family and friends came here for lunch, and we were impressed by the large menu options and even the fact they were open on a public holiday. The friendly staff warned that there may be “Long wait times” for food, however I was pleased with the speed. Took them around 15-20 minutes to serve 7 meals (A time I felt left enough time for us to talk, drink, and order.), and the drinks came beforehand. We came on a public holiday, and they had a small public holiday surcharge, and besides that no change. Can definitely recommend the Slider Trio, along with the Thickshake.Photo: Slider Trio (minus the chips, Which I ate already aha, too yummy!)

The Island gets our vote as its doggo friendly- Owners even bake puppy treats! Very busy and popular place so get in early to nab a table- but if its too busy you can always get takeaway and head down the beach! Lovely helpful staff and yummy generous food. Woof Woof we will be back!

Huge food portions, friendly service and a gorgeous view of the sea just a short stroll across the street. The Island Cafe won't leave you hungry and the staff are welcoming and accommodating. Brought my nan here, and while it can get busy on weekends during the week, it's lovely and quieter. Nice comfy seating and they make a gorgeous frappe (the chai was divine). Cheers, we will return! xxx

Great position in Norah Head with ocean views. Friendly staff and great food. We come here for the scrumptious home made carrot cake - just perfect. It's the best we've ever had and keeps us coming back.

We just had a really nice breakfast at this cafe with our children. The coffee was the best coffee we’ve had all week, the food is excellent and the staff are friendly.Even though the weather was poor, it had a really nice vibe to it.The island cafe is a must visit for anyone that comes to or near Norah head, only a 6 minute drive from the magenta resort.

The island cafe is amazing. Great location, the service is awesome, and the food is superb. A group of 6 hungry hippos visited for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the portions were generous and very reasonably priced. The chef came and spoke with us as we'd ordered so much food She was extremely lovely and we had a good laugh. We'll definitely be back when in the area. Thank you Island Cafe

Visited for breakfast whilst staying at The Entrance. Place was neat and clean. Service staff friendly. Food well presented and enjoyable. Iced Mochas were best we’ve had anywhere.
